I am extremely disappointed in our room at the Gresham. This is NOT a 4-star hotel room. We paid quite a bit of money and the room is both dated and tiny. You cannot walk between the bed and the desk. We are here at the hotel with another couple. They paid the same price for their room and have significantly more floor space as well as a larger desk and two chairs to sit in. If nothing else, this room should be discounted. I spoke to desk staff. They could not move us to a better room (hotel fully booked) or offer us a better price. I would not recommend staying here. Edited: I initially gave a one-star review. The staff did give us a new room for our second night. The new room is far superior room and likely cost more than initial room. I appreciate that they tried to make it right. The new room meets the standard of a 4-star hotel. That being said, I do think that sub-standard rooms in regard to size should be priced less than we charged. I hope the hotel makes that change for future guests.

Check in was quick. Breakfast staff was welcoming and friendly. Check ins done daily from hotel to make sure everything is good. Good location, allows us to walk and visit much of the city. Rooms were clean, and we enjoyed the well stocked tea service. Only thing, we couldn't figure out how to use the towel warmer.

Por todo, la situación, se puede ir a todo el centro andando. Los autobuses pasan muchos por esa calle. En cuanto a la habitación, estupenda, si qué había qué andar un poquito pero compensaba. El personal del hotel super amable,mucha seguridad. Los desayunos estupendos y la cafetería también. Lo mejor del Hotel es la situación, en general el personal es muy amable y hay muchos españoles lo cual es de agradecer. Nos dieron una habitación en la parte nueva y la verdad es que nos podrían haber avisado porque es un verdadero laberinto llegar hasta esa zona subiendo y bajando por los ascensores. La habitación era espectacular pero tardábamos mucho tiempo en llegar hasta ella, el desayuno está bastante bien. Me gustó el Hotel pero creo es el precio es demasiado alto.

Hotel clásico de Dublín reformado y actualizado por la cadena española Riu. Siempre nos tratan muy bien. Es acogedor a pesar de su tamaño. El desayuno internacional es generoso (falta el aceite de oliva para darle el toque hispano). Las habitaciones son amplias y muy elegantes, con un punto de modernidad. Volveremos en nuestro próximo viaje a la capital irlandesa.

Plenty of room and location is fantastic, easy walk into temple bar area from here. Breakfast was delicious!! My only negative point is the toilet door does not slide closed tight to the wall, that's it. The shower was fantastic too. Can't wait to rebook!

Very clean and centrally located hotel. Stayed one night at start of vacation and 2 nights at the end. Both Rooms were nice but some of the fixtures needed looking at. ie safe not working in one, towel rack not heating in another. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with so many choices. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Very good central location in Dublin city. They were accomodating with an early check-in. There is no parking available, but they offer a discount within a nearby parking complex. The room was small but clean and relatively comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast was included with lots of variety

Que decir de este Hotel además de que es absolutamente espectacular, nosotros tuvimos la increíble suerte de aprovechar una oferta bastante económica en el momento en el que viajábamos con el desayuno incluido.Por supuesto es un Hotel que ya tiene una cierta categoría y la verdad que el trato es absolutamente fantástico, la habitación es como un piso, en nuestro caso era una cama bastante grande de matrimonio con televisión y también tenía un sofá con una mesa. El baño disponía de toallas con calefactor para secarlas y tenía una ducha y enfrente una bañera.El servicio de habitaciones es espectacular lo mantienen todo impoluto, también había una cómoda y un escritorio y un armario. Jamás he estado en un Hotel tan cómodo y tan completo, he dormido como en una nube, es cómodo y no se oyen muchos ruidos así que puedes descansar maravillosamente. En el Hotel había bastantes españoles por lo que no tenías problema para poder comunicarte si no sabías mucho inglés, el desayuno es espectacular muy completo con mucha variedad de opciones tanto como de cereales, fruta, zumo, bollería etc.Cada vez que salíamos del Hotel la atención era absolutamente maravillosa e impecable.En especial destacamos a David que era cocinero y a Jose que estaba siempre en la entrada del Hotel, ambos con una profesionalidad maravillosa y destacable y súper agradables y amables.El primer día que llegamos conocimos a Jose y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. Así que nuestra estancia ha sido como estar en un paraíso.La ubicación del Hotel es absolutamente maravillosa y espectacular te encuentras a dos minutos tres andando de el “Split” en todo el centro y con un montón de opciones alrededor así como combinaciones de transporte.

Hotel muy bueno y bonito. Muchos españoles trabajando y eso mola. Habitaciones muy amplias aunque ruidosa: vibraba algo todo el rato por la noche encima nuestro y estábamos en la última planta asique no era otro huésped. Muy buena ubicación y desayuno rico. Te cobran 5€ por cada adaptador del enchufe si se te olvida traerle, solo opción a compra, no te le prestan.

Stayed in your hotel last night, it’s a beautiful hotel as you get to reception, there was a huge mix up with our rooms, given the wrong room then when given the right room, a triple room, which was €90 each, I had to sleep on a fold out bed from a couch, for €90 I don’t think that’s acceptable and breakfast not to be included, also the rooms very outdated, I will say the shower was fabulous. I don’t know maybe if I was to ever stay again, I’d get a better updated room. For its location it’s great as it’s close to everything, was just very disappointed that I had to sleep on a fold out bed.

Our stay was great! The bed was comfy with all amenities we needed for our 3 days stay. Everything is the same as the pictures were posted here. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection; try to go before 0830 so you won't be in queue too long. The hotel is located close to many places, e.g. the shopping mall, coffee shops, tourist attractions, etc. where you can walk there conveniently. Restaurants and pubs are also in walking distance. It is a 20 minutes taxi ride to the airport so it is convenient. Definitely recommend to stay at this hotel!

Parking is about a five minute walk from the hotel in a secure multi storey. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean though a bit old fashioned. We slept well but it was noisy outside with fans running through the night. The food was excellent and their process for breakfast was well managed. The lost star is the lost sleep because there were too many distracting noises during the last night. Let's face it, sleep is the most important part of the hotel,

Amazing location, but that's about it. Very old hotel that needs updating. Old amenities and thin walls. If you prefer the old charm and traditional breakfast then this is a place for you. Vegan/vegetarian breakfast options are very limited, as it is a paradise for meat eaters and lovers of heavy breakfast. If you don't like the traditional Irish breakfast don't take that option while booking a room. There are a plenty of places around to get a more varied food. Plus side is that you can walk everywhere from here, so central!

Didn't realise it was so big!! My room seems to be in a different postcode from the lobby!! The Gresham is a Dublin institution and it is a place I always look forward to staying in. Upgraded room this trip, room was grand, view was the backside of the Savoy cinema!! Pity, kinda disappointed in the upgrade. Breakfast is lovely and sets you up for a long day exploring/shopping or whatever takes your fancy

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in rooms so small and smelt damp after we paid extra for an upgrade Bed so uncomfortable.Breakfast a total disaster buff of cold rubber food. The eggs rubbery and bacon you need a hammer to break it that was uneatable black mushroom and cold potatoes .OrderedPoached eggs from the kitchen what a shock when I cut in to them disgraceful .I feel sorry for foreign guest that book hear looking forward to a Full Irish ☘️ Breakfast you will not get it hear Over priced let down .Rui have gone down hill in my estimation Would I return not ever . Such an excellent stay at Rui Plaza- The Gresham Dublin Hotel. Me and my friend stayed here for several days, we felt very safe and looked after here. We were lucky enough to have a 5 hour early check in as we were soaking wet through- this was well appreciated! Staff were extremely attentive, all the most polite and friendly people at all times. Perfect location too. A really great stay overall ☺️

Para ser un hotel de cuatro estrellas es decadente. El aire condicionado de la habitación no funciona bien y el calor es horrible. La bañera es vieja y sucia. Las paredes sucias. Armarios con bisagras rotas, las vistas son a callejones sucios, no tiene minibar, muebles viejos y pasados de moda. En general está todo bastante viejo. En absoluto son cuatro estrellas. El almuerzo es bufet muy sencillo y pobre. Lo que hay es de baja calidad. Todo son comentarios objetivos.

Started off great, lady who checked us in at reception ‘Shana’ was lovely and really helpful, we were quite early for checking in and as our room was ready Shana was very accommodating. Room was nice and clean and great sized TV. Only one pillow each provided tho and they are quite flat but bed is comfy. We were advised at check in we didn’t need to make a reservation for food we just walked in. We came down at 9pm and staff avoided us like the plague. Literally walking around us as we stood at the entrance to the bar waiting for service or instruction. We had to go to reception and ask what the situation was as all staff were avoiding us, we were instructed to find a table ourselves, eventually we did and were sat for 10 minutes before we got someone’s attention, we were advised there’s no menu to go look at the one at reception, then we were advised it’s too busy so they’re not taking orders for another 20 minutes and that we can’t order a drink while we wait because it had to be ordered with the food.So we were to sit there with nothing in front of us because as the waiter stated ‘there’s a massive back log in the kitchen because everyone decided to book into here just so they can eat inside’ We were sat there for 25 minutes before we could order. After ordering drinks and food (together as instructed) we waited a further 15 minutes. I appreciate staff being under pressure and busy and also the pressure with restrictions but we were made to feel like we were a burden and that our custom wasn’t wanted. The food was absolutely gorgeous in fairness, and the waiter was lovely. The breakfast was inedible but the individual pastries were nice. Wouldn’t rush back

Birthday treat. Stayed in this hotel with family for my husbands birthday. Staff at reception were very friendly. Rooms were clean. Bar staff were lovely and very friendly and made us feel very welcome. In particular Joan was amazing she couldn't do enough for us. The only down side was the breakfast it was cold and the bacon was under cooked was a let down. Haven't said that we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent welcome and professional staff at reception. We were early and very lucky to get a room which was prepared. Thank you!! Everything was in order and we were very happy and reassured to see all customers and staff keeping their distance, and wearing masks. Breakfast is wonderful. Atmosphere in hotel is calm and orderly. Only problem was the very narrow double bed!!! Very uncomfortable and got disturbed sleep on our first night. Second night was a bit better. You get what you pay for, I suppose. The room is described as 'standard double' and I have not slept in such a narrow bed ever. Should have upgraded had we known. I will return to Gresham, and have stayed here on many occasions. I will upgrade next time. Thanks to all staff for taking all the necessary precautions to help us all feel safe .

Stayed here to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The hotel is centrally located. Mario on Reception was absolutely amazing and made our stay so special. He arranged for a room upgrade and a late check out, both complimentary. Breakfast in these pandemic times was very organised and relaxed. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

I got a booking for two with a great price. The place is very cosy and the breakfast is very good. But what I love the most is the warm attitude of the staffs. They are very courteous, polite, friendly and active. I like the lobby side because its wide, I can gather with my friends with social distancing. The staffs are very professional too. The rooms are very clean. Though there are no bottled water or hot water heater for drinking because of covid rules, it is ok. The toiletries are almost complete. They only have the savon,shower cap, cups and handgel inside the bathroom but its ok because I brought my own electronic brush which I prefer to use. The check out is 10 30 am. Over all it was a great experience, I got relaxed and I was very comfortable until the last minute of my stay. :)

Después de 12 días y 90€ el día con desayuno buffet he de decir que el hotel está muy bien situado, tanto por lugares que ver a pie como por autobuses en la puerta que te llevan al aeropuerto o a sitios de interés de forma directa, el personal es MUY amable y hay muchos españoles y latinos trabajando ahí, lo que hace que la estancia sea más cercana, sobre todo un botones llamado David, super atento y profesional. Para un 4 estrellas el hotel en si necesita una reforma en cuanto a las habitaciones y aunque la cantidad del desayuno era más que suficiente faltaba algo de calidad. Con todo dicho, repetiría sin duda

Fantastic hotel . Really superb welcome from guys at the door . Great check in . We were a little early so they took our bags while we went out . Rooms are warm clean and comfortable. Shower is really nice . The breakfast was fantastic. Loads of options and really tasty.. but best of all is the location it's right on the door step of all pubs shops etc .. I will definitely come here again . Really impressed .. 10/10 .

Encantado con el hotel. La noche nos salió por unos 180€, pero si no vas para muchos días o te lo puedes permitir, es de los mejores sitios que he estado. Muy céntrico, ya que el transporte público de Dublín es bastante malo a mi parecer. La habitación era grande y estaba limpia, nos atendieron estupendamente y la verdad es que nos dejó con ganas de volver.

Uno de los hoteles más espectaculares en los que he estado de toda Europa y España. Se nota el toque de nuestra tierra. La ubicación era realmente increíble, en todo el centro literal. El desayuno estaba súper bueno, ¡tenían de absolutamente todo! Hasta una maquina que hacía tortitas en el momento. La decoración era original. Las habitaciones (con detalle de bombones y agua) muy amplias y limpias.

Hotel bem localizado na rua principal, staff atencioso e na recepção tem brasileiros, instalações amplas e confortáveis, quartos de bom tamanho e limpos. Ponto negativo: carpetes em grande parte do hotel e no quarto, que apesar de limpo deixa um cheiro estranho. Conclusão: vale a pena pelo custo x benefícios.

El hotel se encuentra ubicado a 10 minutos andando de la zona de pubs. En una calle principal con muy buenos accesos andando y en transporte. Durante la celebración del día de san Patricio, el desfile pasa por delante de su puerta de acceso. El desayuno es bueno y variado y las habitaciones y el baño es perfecto para pasar un par de días.Dispone además de 2 restaurantes para picar algo o cenar/comer. Tienen trabajadores de varios países lo que les permite hablar en varios idiomas.

Me ha encantado el hotel.Para empezar la ubicación excelente en O’Connell Street, a mano de todo.El check in rápido, me asignaron la habitación en el 5to piso, como detalle importante, todas las cosas del cuarto, notas, revistas, anuncios estaban en español e inglés, ya que es un gesto de detalle El cuarto muy amplio, cómodo y funcional con todos los elementos de relax necesario con muebles y alfombras impecables.Wifi de cortesía muy bueno El desayuno servido en planta baja muy bueno, variado, con todo lo que uno pueda imaginar para comer en el desayuno. La atención allí muy dispar sobre todo en la gente de habla hispana, que ni siquiera decían buenos días a pesar de uno decirlo, eso es un desacierto que deberían corregir Check out rapidísimo Volvería sin dudar a alojarme en este hotel y en cualquiera de la Cadena, ya que nunca había estado en ninguno de ellos.
