Only 2 out of 3 elevators were active on a busy weekend, and I got stuck on one of them. 9-1-1 was called when no staff picked up emergency phone. It could have been worse, but was not pleasant.The rooftop lounge was not always open, so little opportunity to catch the view.I got locked out of my room when front desk / system forgot I had a late checkout.Free breakfast was pretty good. 100% juices, but OJ ran out.The rooms were nice and large though, and soundproofing seemed fine

Hotel ótimo, mas o ponto alto é a localização. Acesso direto do/para aeroporto JFK (airtrain e depois estação E Jamaica até/da 34st). Outro ponto forte foi o café da manhã e o bar que fica no rooftop.

This is the most perfect hotel for NYC!I've stayed in past places for both work and leisure, but this one is my absolute favorite.It's not only perfectly clean and inviting, the staff here are truly amazing.I accidentally left a brand-new, prized Harry Styles concert shirt from our evening the night before at Madison Square Garden and not only did the housekeeping manager search for it, she FedExed it to me *on her way home from work*!!I have never experienced customer service like this, and I can't wait to go back.It is literally steps away from Penn Station so I felt 100% safe traveling with two kids as well.Thank you for being my newest favorite spot in NYC to rest and recharge!

Highly recommend this hotel. Just finished a 2-night stay here for Labor Day weekend. Booked a deluxe room king bed with city view months ago, so the rate was very decent for midtown hotel during a holiday weekend. This place did not disappoint and lived up to all the reviews. I stayed on the 16th floor with south facing unobstructed view. Unobstructed views in other midtown hotels are a couple hundred dollars more than what this Fairfield would charge. Breakfast was included in the room price but I didn’t take advantage of it. Modern decor, very clean, room large enough for a solo traveler. Large, very spacious shower stall. Bathroom counter space is small but there’s more than enough floor space in the bathroom. Three elevators which were at times slow. Love the location about 100 or so yards from Penn Station and MSG. Also 2 blocks from Hudson Yards. I’ll definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing time. The staff was helpful and friendly. When we needed anything like extra towels, they brought them immediately. Our room was big enough (for NYC), cleaned daily, and we were always given clean towels. The beds were comfy, the free breakfast was pretty extensive (but no breakfast meats anymore. Inflation cut backs, I assume). There were cereals, pastries, bagels and breads, oatmeal options, and eggs. The location is tremendous if you like hustle and bustle. It was a 1-minute walk to a Penn Station subway entrance, a 10 minute walk to the Empire State Building, and a 30 minute walk to Wicked. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone heading to New York City!

Friendly, clean and well placed for sightseeing. It is steady walk from the main tourist spots of The Empire State Building, Rockefella centre & Time Square. Taxi rank in front of Madison square garden made getting about super easy & with such a land mark so close we found it made getting back to the hotel much easier as well. The hotel staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, good quality breakfast each morning provided the energy to start the day. There was a small good gym. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

La ubicación es perfecta, al frente está Penn Station, a cinco pasos el Madison Square Garden, a cuatro minutos Hudson Yards y High Line, a 15 Times Square. No duden hospedarse aquí si es su primera vez, les facilita la ubicación.Las habitaciones están limpias, el personal es atento. Los desayunos por covid nos tocaban en la habitación pero todo estaba variado y rico.

We took Amtrak into the city. This hotel is very conveniently located right across the street. It was nice not having to lug our belongings very far. The employees here were so amazing. We had a nice city view and could see One World. Would absolutely stay here again. Room wasn't as big as we are used to but it's NYC. Room didn't have a fridge which would have been nice.

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. All staff was very pleasant and the room was clean. The free breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The location was good for our trip as it was not a long walk to Time Square and Broadway. The hotel is very close to the Lincoln tunnel so we didn't have to drive too far into the city which was nice. I definitely recommend staying here.

La ubicación es maravillosa y el desayuno el mejor. El personal es super simpático y amable. La limpieza de la habitación no es muy buena, nunca respondieron las preguntas en booking, el bar que publicitan aún no está habilitado y la habitación para dos tenía un solo asiento.

Incredible hotel! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious - don't skip the potatoes au gratin. Very quiet rooms and comfy beds. The water pressure was stellar and soothed sore muscles from walking all day. You have to have a key card to access the elevators, so we all felt very safe. Very close to subway stations and buses and Madison Square Garden. We highly recommend staying here. We were a big group (57!) and they took care of all of us!

Muy buen hotel... muuuuy bien ubicado, cerca de la estacion de metro Penn Station, a media cuadra del Madison Square Garden, a 2 cuadras del Empire State y tambien a 2 cuadra de Hudson Yards. Como a 10 mins caminando de Times Square. Desayuno bufette pero sin mesas (por la pandemia se come en el lobby o te lo llevas a la habitacion). Tienen cerrado el bar del rooftop. Buena atencion, personal cordial. Seguro.

Nos hospedamos 8 días en este hotel, Nos asignaron en una habitación que quedaba cerca al ascensor y no pudimos descansar muy bien porque sonaba con mucha frecuencia, al tercer día pedimos cambio y por fortuna nos lo dieron.No nos gusto el desayuno, los 8 días comimos exactamente lo mismo, lo único que variaban era una fruta diferente. Si esperas algo de sal para tus desayunos no lo podrás encontrar.
